The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for manufactured goods.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis and projections.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze production costs, gross margins, and profitability by product line to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with operations management to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Proven ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes in accordance with GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data analysis tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Deep experience optimizing financial modules within a major manufacturing ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
