Job SummaryQimmah Coffee House is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to be the final touchpoint for our guests. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless carry-out experience by handling transactions efficiently, managing to-go orders, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for processing orders accurately, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting customers with menu inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Handling & Order Management Process transactions accurately using cash, credit/debit, and mobile payments
Verify and package orders properly before handing them to customers

Guest Experience & Customer Service Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring a positive final impression
Assist guests with menu questions, dietary inquiries, and special requests
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Provide exceptional service that reflects Qimmah Coffee Houses commitment to hospitality

Cleanliness & Organization Maintain a clean, well-organized checkout and carry-out area
Follow food safety and sanitation standards when handling orders
Develop strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods
Provide thoughtful recommendations and upsell additional menu items to enhance the guest experience
Stay informed about specials, promotions, and new menu items

Team Collaboration Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to coordinate accurate order preparation
Assist in training new team members when needed
Step in to support the team during peak hours to ensure smooth service Qualifications Previous experience as a Cashier, Carry-Out Specialist, or in a fast-paced caf or restaurant preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure
High level of accuracy when handling transactions and packaging orders
Experience with POS systems and payment processing equipment is a plus
Team-oriented mindset with a positive and energetic attitude
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
