Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for 2nd and 3rd shift warehouse loader positions. The role involves moving materials from the warehouse to the saw operators using chain slings and magnets.

Responsibilities

• Transport heavy materials using chain slings and magnets.
• Operate forklifts and cranes to facilitate material movement.
• Engage in production, packaging, and loading tasks.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a warehouse environment with material handling.
• Background in steel, recycling, or heavy-duty operations.
• Ability to read and interpret tape measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes.
• Experience with RF scanners and packaging.

Work Environment

The facility is a steel environment that is dirty, dark, and damp. This position is ideal for individuals comfortable with less-than-glamorous working conditions. The 2nd shift operates from 3 PM to 1 AM, Monday to Friday, and the 3rd shift runs from 7 PM to 5 AM, Sunday to Thursday, with initial training on the 1st shift from 5 AM to 3 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grandville, MI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
