Job Summary

Resort Customer Service Specialists manage guest's expectations by responding to customer service inquiries or requests for or from a stay at a resort property. They document, track, and resolve all issues that are presented to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Resort Customer Service Specialists provide solutions to enrich customer retention and build relationships with our guests.

Job Duties

  • Ensures a positive customer experience by effectively managing the customer service case closure process through inbound calls, outbound calls, and Sales Force lead software. This includes guest retention and converting detractors to promoters. (Essential)

  • Identifies potential issues through customer service concern requests and takes next steps to report or resolve appropriately. (Essential)

  • Identifies sales opportunities presented through customer service cases and takes next steps to report or resolve appropriately. (Essential)

  • Maintains knowledge of all company resorts and amenities, to be able to educate and respond to guests accordingly. (Essential)

  • Meets or exceeds the targeted closure rate of customer service cases and all assigned goals.

  • Adheres to all company policies regarding inbound and outbound calls.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)

  • 1 year in sales and customer service experience (Required)

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
