Finance Intern

Location: Munising, MI

Description:

Mativ is actively searching for a Finance Intern for the Munising, Michigan facility. Ideal candidates have the attitude, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills to support Mativ’s collaborative, high-achievement culture.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Finance/Accounting team and local management
• Analyze, review, and assist in developing mill related reports as required
• Assist in month-end closing process and provide accurate cost information
• Assist with preparing commonly run reports through Oracle/ERP systems
• Assist in financial reporting, accruals, and general ledger data clean-up

Qualifications:

Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Working toward a degree in Finance or Accounting
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle and drive new projects and ideas
