Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials and thicknesses.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, structural integrity, and adherence to specifications.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to production requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick/SMAW).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform welding tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) or ability to pass certification tests.
• Experience working with various metal types (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum).

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS D1.1, D1.2, or D1.6 certification
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored)
• Experience with fabrication, fitting, and grinding
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints
