Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, vendor payments, and collections.
• Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll, including tax filings and benefits administration.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
• Oversee office operations, including ordering supplies, managing equipment, and coordinating facility maintenance.
• Provide administrative support to the leadership team and production staff, including scheduling and record-keeping.
• Assist with HR functions such as new employee onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and benefits enrollment.
• Prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience managing office operations, including vendor relations, supply management, and administrative support.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) and assist with budget tracking.
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing or production-based company.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with cost accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Background in HR administration support (onboarding, benefits).
• Experience with inventory management systems or processes.
