Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and verification of a wide range of test and measurement equipment (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, electrical).
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive calibration records, certificates, and documentation in accordance with quality management systems.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair malfunctioning instruments and equipment to bring them within specified tolerances.
• Develop, review, and implement calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal quality standards, industry regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP), and customer requirements.
• Manage and schedule calibration activities, including external vendor services, to minimize equipment downtime.
• Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance personnel on proper instrument usage and care.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology) or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience performing calibrations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in using various calibration equipment and interpreting technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and quality systems.
• Ability to accurately document calibration results and maintain detailed records.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with calibration management software (e.g., Beamex, Fluke Met/Cal)
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty principles
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 or other quality management systems relevant to calibration
• Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
