Overview
This role supports external insurance agents by answering questions through phone and other communication channels. This role represents our brand to our agents and serves as a key point of contact for agency-related support.
Responsibilities
- Agent Support: Respond to agent questions by phone or other channels in a professional, compliant manner. Provide guidance on products, underwriting, compliance, payments, policy updates, forms, licensing, and escalations.
- Licensing & Contracting: Assist agents with licensing and contracting questions, including paperwork, state requirements, backdating rules, and appointment status. Troubleshoot issues and work with the Licensing & Contracting team as needed.
- Commissions: Answer questions related to commission schedules, payment timing, system issues, and chargebacks. Partner with the Commissions team to resolve concerns.
- Cross‐Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as New Business, Underwriting, Corporate Records, Accounting/Finance, and Policy Administration to support agent needs and resolve issues.
- Administrative Support: Complete various administrative tasks such as updating reports, creating vendor codes, testing systems, and supporting special projects.
- Application Support: Start and complete insurance applications over the phone with agents and their customers, providing clear guidance and product support throughout the process.
- Perform other duties as assigned and follow all company policies and standards.
