Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Production Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the holes drilled into metal parts are the correct distance and size from the end of the part. Precision is key, as you will be using a tape measure to verify measurements.

Responsibilities

• Check parts to ensure holes are drilled correctly in terms of distance and size.
• Use a tape measure to perform accurate measurements.
• Perform general labor tasks including inspection and quality control.
• Participate in assembly, packaging, and machine operation.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and forklifts.
• Be prepared to take on multiple roles, including manual machining and forklift operation as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in reading and understanding tape measure fractions.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, especially in roles requiring you to be on your feet most of the day.
• Familiarity with visual inspection, blueprints, and quality control processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general production and machine operation.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and hand tools.
• Understanding of packaging and assembly processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
