Description:
The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Marketing Department across all areas of communication, branding, and promotions for The Pulpo Group (TPG) restaurants. This person will assist with event promotion, digital marketing, campaign execution, brand storytelling, and coordination of both print and digital assets. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director and Social Media Manager to keep campaigns on track, support creative projects, and contribute to brand consistency across all platforms.
CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
CAMPAIGN SUPPORT & EXECUTION
- Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across email, digital ads, print, and on-site signage
- Coordinate timelines, asset delivery, and communication with key stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Track and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics
- Develop and deploy monthly newsletters and email campaigns
- Support graphic design and layouts (Canva, Squarespace)
- Maintain and organize digital asset libraries (photo, video, templates)
- Collaborate on the creation of written and visual content for campaigns
EVENT & PROMOTION MARKETING
- Promote internal and public-facing events across all TPG platforms
- Coordinate marketing materials (email, flyers, signage, web updates) for activations
- Attend special events to capture live UGC and behind-the-scenes content
- Maintain inventory and distribution of print marketing materials
- Audit in-store signage and collateral; suggest and implement improvements
- Review local event calendars to identify engagement opportunities
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to evaluate and improve digital/print design
CONTENT COORDINATION & CREATIVE SUPPORT
- Capture and edit Reels, TikToks, and UGC-style content across brands
- Be on-site at events and services to collect video and photo assets
- Assist in brainstorming, storyboarding, and executing creative content ideas
BRAND COMMUNICATION & WEBSITE SUPPORT
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and review websites
- Proofread internal and external communications
- Help update restaurant websites, menus, and event pages for accuracy
ADMINISTRATIVE & MARKETING OPERATIONS
- Track incoming marketing requests and help manage project timelines
- Assist with logistics and inventory for branded merchandise
- Maintain team project calendars and help ensure workflow organization

- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related fields.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Canva, Google Workspace, Squarespace and social media platforms.
- Comfortable filming in a live restaurant environment.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and UGC content trend.
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar tools).
- iPhone Pro or similar HD video-capable device.
- Familiarity with wireless mics, gimbals/stabilizers is a plus!
- Reliable transportation to travel between restaurant locations.
- Strong creative eye and ability to work independently.
- Photography and videography experience a plus.

- This position requires the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. Occasional light lifting (25 pounds and under) may be required.
