CNC Machinist

Solid manufacturing company seeking 2nd shift CNC operators or Machinits - -pay depending on skill level

salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

· Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision aerospace components

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Maintain quality standards through in-process and final inspections
• Work within a cellular manufacturing environment to support efficient workflows
• Participate in training and skill development programs — opportunities available for motivated learners

Qualifications

· 2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathes and/or mills)

• Proven ability to produce tight-tolerance components for aerospace or similar industries
• Proficiency with Mazatrol programming preferred
• Experience with Swiss machining considered an asset
• strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement
