Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school located in Niles, MI. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP with expertise in pediatrics and school-based settings, ready to support an elementary caseload primarily through direct services.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Familiarity with school-based therapy, including working with elementary-aged students
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to an elementary caseload of 43 students, mainly in small groups, with some students receiving consult-only services
- Maintain detailed case notes for all students on the caseload
- Collaborate with another SLP who will manage evaluations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support communication goals within the school structure during an 8-week leave period
Position Details:
- Contract role for the 2025-2026 school year
- Part-time hours with a focus on direct service delivery
- Start date: December 1
