Fully Remote with travel within territory (Lower peninsula of Michigan and Northwest Ohio)

We are seeking a driven, independent Outside Sales Representative to manage and expand an existing customer base within a defined local territory. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a consultative sales environment. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a well-established book of business and build upon it through strong customer engagement and relationship management.
Qualifications:
5–10 years of proven success in commercial sales of industrial products.
Strong relationship-building skills through direct customer engagement.
Consultative sales style with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
Ability to uncover and capitalize on business development opportunities.
Technical proficiency to support customer decision-making processes.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Chemical Engineering (ChemE), or Industrial Engineering (IE); other technical degrees will be considered.
Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is a plus.
Ability to pass customer-specific background checks and onsite drug screenings when required.
Responsibilities:
Manage existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for new business growth.
Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to provide technical solutions and product expertise.
Deliver consultative sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
Identify and pursue new revenue streams within industrial and commercial sectors.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor, assisting customers in selecting the right solutions for their applications.
Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism with customers.
