Job Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of CAGE code registration transactions. This position involves developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and providing feedback and training to improve service delivery within the CAGE Program. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in quality assurance within a service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Processes
    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards and procedures to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of CAGE code registration and customer service processes.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of registration transactions and customer interactions to identify errors, trends, and areas for improvement.
Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, recommending corrective actions and improvements where necessary.
    • Analyze data from quality assurance activities to identify recurring issues and suggest strategies for addressing systemic problems.
Training and Development
    • Provide training and support to staff to enhance their understanding and application of quality standards and processes.
    • Develop quality assurance training materials and conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure team members remain informed of best practices and procedural updates.
Collaborative Improvement
    • Work closely with the help desk and management teams to integrate quality assurance processes into daily operations effectively.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality issues and collaborate on process improvement initiatives.
Compliance and Standards
    • Ensure all QA activities comply with CAGE Program policies and government standards, maintaining an audit-ready posture at all times.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and integration into QA processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a government contracting or service-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver feedback and training effectively.
  • Proficiency with quality management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CAGE code registration processes and Defense Logistics Agency operations.
