Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, equipment, and product quality.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and support new product introduction.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the engineering department budget, resource allocation, and capital expenditure planning.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) with 7+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, automation, and best practices in areas such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects, from scope definition to successful implementation, on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and implementing effective solutions to improve operational efficiency, quality, and cost.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, advanced automation, predictive maintenance).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with common manufacturing ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
