Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or graduation from an AMA‑approved school of nuclear medicine.
- Registration in Nuclear Medicine with the ARRT or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). (Required.)
- BLS certification.
- State certification or licensure as required to practice nuclear medicine in Michigan when applicable.
- Experience performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and preparing/administering radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ability to operate and perform routine maintenance and quality assurance on nuclear imaging equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance (The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local standards).
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital setting.
- Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application, if available.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Work days: Monday through Friday.
- Position type: Travel assignment in a hospital setting in Fenton, MI.

As a health professional with Jackson HealthPros, you will contribute to high quality patient care through accurate diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, performing imaging studies, documenting results, maintaining supplies and equipment, and practicing radiation safety.
