REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
• 2+ years of insurance/mortgage/banking experience required
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Accuracy, efficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism with strong interpersonal skills
• Outstanding phone etiquette and listening skills
• Continuous learning attitude

OVERVIEW: This is not a sales or production role. This full-time support role offers training from the ground up, putting you with a team to guide you every step of the way. This position requires document review with exceptional attention to detail. Prior experience with a mortgage company or a bank will also be considered as experience if you do not have any insurance experience. We will also assist with getting the appropriate Property and Casualty licensing.

As a member of the Lenz-Balder team, you will develop key professional skills, including building business and personal relationships with clients and co-workers, effective communication, teamwork, and customer service. You will be an advocate for our clients, investigating insurance policy billing issues, helping with claims, and assisting with the daily operations of our Personal Lines Department.

In this position, you will learn various personal insurance coverage options. In addition to mastering Lenz-Balder's agency management system and internal processes, you will also be required to become comfortable navigating various carrier and insurance websites. Daily responsibilities will include issuing proofs of insurance, processing policy changes, assisting clients with billing questions, helping to back up our front desk staff, and scanning/indexing documents into our electronic database. In addition, you will assist Account Managers and Account Executives internally, and eventually, customers with various insurance needs. This is an entry-level position with a proven track for career growth into future roles and responsibilities!
