An Assistant General Manager for a well-established, fast-paced coffeehouse who will assist the General Manager in overseeing the operations, management, and attaining sales goals of a corporate Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea. This is an entry level leadership opportunity. Strong candidates will be looking for personal career growth in the exciting category of specialty coffee and tea. Responsibilities:
- Build sales through excellent product execution, guest service, and team management.
- Assists in managing and training the team to attain sales goals.
- Assists in the managing daily operations, guest service, training, product quality, merchandising, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Maintain Sweetwaters brand standards.
- Supports GM in reviewing, preparing, and submitting orders, inventory, scheduling, and payroll.
- Supports GM in marketing events.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enjoys working with people, able to multi-task, and enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong guest service skills, friendly, accurate, and efficient.
- Passionate about preparing excellent beverages, pastries, desserts, and savory foods.
- Strong work ethic, driven, and detail oriented.
- Fun attitude about work and life, loves to laugh, and desires to create a positive team environment.
- Flexible availability with a minimum of 30 hours/week.
- Must be available nights and weekends.
- High school or equivalent.
- Able to use Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- 2 years of supervisory or shift lead experience
- ServSafe certified preferred
- General Management training for qualified candidates
- Positions available in franchise division for qualified candidates
