Service Technician - Fire & Safety Systems
Relapath is currently looking for a Service Technician for Fire and Safety Systems in Ypsilanti, MI. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with competitive compensation and excellent benefit package.
Key skills:
1-2 years experience servicing and repairing fire and security systems
Ability to document records and reports of assessments/audits of systems
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the service of security and fire systems hardware.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
Assist in creating documentation and reports for security assessments and audits.
Accurately maintain inventory records for all hardware.
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to support requests promptly and professionally, ensuring user satisfaction.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Performance Objectives
Complete assigned training modules and certifications within specified timelines.
Deliver quality service and support that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Maintain timely and accurate service documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
3+ years of experience in a service role supporting fire systems, security systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
Experience servicing Kidde, DMP, Digital Watchdog, Notifier, and AiPhone preferred
NICET 1
