Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, welders, and machinists.
• Ensure all fabrication projects meet quality standards, specifications, and deadlines.
• Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of fabrication equipment and machinery.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area.
• Optimize production workflow and material utilization to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, ensuring smooth production processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in multiple fabrication techniques, including welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), cutting (plasma, laser), and metal forming.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality control procedures, safety protocols, and material properties relevant to fabrication.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve fabrication challenges efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for design review and machine programming.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced certifications in specific fabrication techniques (e.g., CWI, specialized CNC operation).
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and material tracking.
