Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Newaygo, MI
Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process payroll, including timecard verification and employee record maintenance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies, managing mail, and coordinating facility services.
- Administer HR-related tasks such as new hire onboarding, benefits coordination, and record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate financial and operational records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office vendors and manage office equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Full-cycle bookkeeping expertise, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online/Desktop and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
- Understanding of accounting principles relevant to manufacturing, including basic inventory management and job costing concepts.
- Proven experience in office administration, vendor management, and general operational support.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a combined bookkeeping and office management role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, NetSuite).
- Understanding of inventory costing methods relevant to manufacturing.
- Familiarity with procurement processes for raw materials and components.
- Experience with job costing or project accounting in a production environment.
