Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role involves managing the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy in order preparation, and maintaining inventory records within a bustling manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Prepare and organize orders for shipment.
• Pull parts accurately for order fulfillment.
• Ensure other departments are stocked with necessary goods for production.
• Assist other departments between deliveries as needed.
• Document shipments meticulously and track inventory with precision.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Proficiency with inventory management.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Understanding of logistics processes.

Work Environment

The role is based within a 200,000 sq ft warehouse and shipping dock, part of a manufacturing environment involving welding, machining, and assembly. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Steel toe boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
