Greenfield Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care to our community for over 65 years. We are an independently (women) owned, AAHA accredited, practice in Southfield, MI. We take a low-stress approach to our medicine utilizing medication and other methods to provide the best experience for our patients. We have three veterinarians who are passionate about behavioral medicine!

We are currently seeking (1-2) licensed veterinary technicians who are compassionate, good under pressure, positive, and work well with their teammates!

Requirements and Responsibilities :

• Licensed in Veterinary Technology
• Venipuncture,
• Placing IV catheters,
• Administering and monitoring sedation,
• Endotracheal intubation,
• Calculating, administering and monitoring general anesthesia
• Perform dental cleanings including dental radiographs
• The ability to provide excellent interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with your peers, supervisors, our clients, and the veterinarians.
• The ability to utilize low stress/fear free handling of patients.
• The ability to focus and even thrive under high stress situations.
• Assisting the veterinarian throughout each patient visit and during surgery
• Working effectively as a team member while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to provide exceptional client education
• Available every other Saturday 7:45-1pm
• Available Mondays
• Available one evening, either Monday or Thursday until approximately 8:30 pm

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
