The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of operations while providing exceptional patient care with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet patients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and phone call handling.
• Accurately document patient information using optical terminology and ICD-10 coding.
• Process medical billing and perform insurance verification for patient visits.
• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy.
• Perform various clerical tasks such as typing, data entry, and managing paperwork.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and communicate billing information clearly.
• Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an optometry clinic or medical office setting.
• Familiarity with optical terminology and ICD-10 coding.
• Proficiency with medical billing software (Revolution EHR preferred).
• Strong administrative and clerical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable working in a seated position for extended periods.
• Accurate and efficient typing skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive patient information with discretion.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

• Strong understanding of clinic operations.
• Expertise with medical billing software, including Revolution EHR.
• Proficiency in insurance verification.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
