Civil Engineer (PE) - Project Management

Webuild () is currently seeking a highly qualified Civil Engineer (PE) to take on project management leadership for a portfolio of engineering design projects related to highways / roadways (MDOT), wastewater / water supply systems and associated infrastructure for municipal and private clientele throughout Michigan, and select Midwest marketplaces.

The ideal candidate for this role would have a minimum of 8 years of experience specializing in leading project design teams. This experience should encompass a diverse skill set that includes a proficiency in site design, grading/earthwork, hydraulics, erosion control, and utilities ((street, sewer, water, and storm drains). You should be well-versed in developing both conceptual and final CAD designs, and possess the ability to effectively coordinate project teams, supervise the preparation of construction plans, interface with stakeholders / governmental agencies, to complete design and secure the necessary project approvals.

Additionally, as this is a leadership role the Civil Engineer (Project Manager) will be called upon to provide technical sales support, as well as, manage the development of project proposals, budgets, schedules, and monitor project engineering for compliance with applicable codes and regulatory standards. The ability to mentor staff and provide professional support is essential.

Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Master Degree desired. Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Michigan or ability to obtain registration in a timely manner required. Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong staff leadership abilities, are key attributes that we are seeking.
