Laboratory Services Tech

: Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters! Provide support for Neogen's Laboratory Services by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the on-line sample analysis request program and log in samples received and match to sample analysis requests.
• Analyze samples with Neogen's test kits, according to kit instructions, per customer, sales and other's request.
• Generates and analyzes data from a variety of laboratory techniques and analytic instrumentation

• Calibrate analytical instrumentation and ensure all lab equipment is up to date per ISO requirements.
• Perform tasks essential to maintaining ISO Certification.

• Participate in sample proficiency programs such as FGIS/GIPSA, FAPAS, and AOCS
• Minor repair of equipment
• Assist the reference material department in sample prep, testing, and weighing of all reference material
• Tabulates and graphs data, and prepares technical reports for senior personnel.
• Participate in kit validations for agencies including; FGIS/GIPSA, AOAC, etc.

• Education and Experience Minimum Associates degree in science-related field OR High School diploma with some college science and 1 year of Lab Technician experience.
