The Material and Production Planner is responsible for developing production and supply plans that consider forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. This role ensures that planning parameters within the ERP system are accurately maintained to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply. The planner may also help coordinate the flow of materials to manufacturing areas based on production schedules and manage the shipment of finished goods to distribution centers. These responsibilities support organizational objectives for customer delivery performance and inventory management. This role includes both planning and inventory control functions.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Materials Department located in Muskegon, MI and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Plan and buy Raw Material components to support our resin manufacturing plant.

• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

• Define planning attributes, safety stocks, replenishment methods in the ERP system Oracle EBS to continuously improve the main KPI's, On Time Delivery, and Inventory turns

• Determine equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

• Follow up with suppliers around open purchase orders and performance KPI's

Who you are:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work as a team

• Able to travel overseas for training

• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work in an open office environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Oracle ERP

• Inventory Management

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
