Landscape and Lawn Maintenance Laborer

Great Lakes Landscaping, Inc., Chesterfield, MI. Daily transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the following counties: Macomb, Oakland, Wayne . * 10 Landscape and Lawn Maintenance Laborer positions available. Temporary, full time position from 05/01/2026 through 11/15/2026 ,* 7:00 AM -4:00 PM, 40 hrs/week, overtime varies, Monday-Friday, some Saturdays as needed, start/end times may vary. Workers will be paid Weekly at $19.93-$23.00/hr, $29.90-$34.50/hr OT. Raise at employer's discretion. Opportunity for additional pay dependent upon experience. Weeding, weed eating, blowing, pruning, trimming, edging, cutting lawns, mulching, planting shrubs and small trees, and raking dirt. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business. No experience required, will train. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates corresponding deductions for available health benefits. Employer facilitates voluntary housing arrangements. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly; reimburse the worker; provide advance payment for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
