Position Summary

Essential Duties

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to support learning and

• Use student data to inform instruction and adjust practices to meet individual needs
• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in literacy and mathematics
• Implement authentic literacy practices that support student growth and comprehension
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment with strong classroom management
• Build meaningful relationships with students and maintain a belief in the success of all learners
• Differentiate instruction to meet students where they are and move them forward
• Communicate student progress regularly and clearly with families
• Integrate technology in purposeful ways to enhance student learning
• Contribute to a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement and student success

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Education
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate; certified in Elementary Education

• Per Teacher Contract
