Industrial Engineering Supervisor

This role will be supporting forward model and capacity studies for all milestones including Direct Labor and Indirect Labor in Powertrain, Vehicle Operations & Battery Cell Manufacturing initiatives.
This role will be largely hybrid with future potential travel to various manufacturing sites.
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering
- 5+ years experience leading in an engineering organization
- Experience with MODAPTS, time studies, and labor analysis
- Experience working in dynamic, constantly changing environment
- Great communicator
- Strong planning and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Plant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience preferred Battery cell manufacturing knowledge preferred

- Lead a team to develop new model labor optimization to achieve labor targets through benchmarking (internal and external), target setting, tracking process changes, and replicating across programs
- Lead development and implementation of labor related battery manufacturing Strategies, Procedures, Guidelines, Bill of Process and Mfg Design Standards to maintain consistency across programs.
- Grow Battery cell Industrial Engineering knowledge.
- Collaborate and work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, Finance, and/or plant personnel
- Drive the teams towards the most efficient use of labor and equipment by communicating and working with multi-functional groups (e.g. Manufacturing Engineering, PD, Plant Operations, etc.).
- Drive & implement labor efficiency through deployment of global IE process, tools and standards
- Represent Ford Motor Company in a professional and positive light with all partners (Joint Ventures, Industry Forums, etc.)
- Support simultaneous engineering meetings with equipment manufacturers (OEMs ), as needed from program teams
- Work with plants to complete & evaluate time studies using MODAPTS as the measurement tool for work standards
- Incorporate continuous improvements utilizing Manufacturing Continuous Improvement/Lessons Learned to find the Best in Class methods
- Lead, mentor, coach, counsel, recognize and empower employees, as necessary.
- Establish and maintain consistent priorities to fully utilize engineering resources in the most efficient manner.
