Location: The Learning Experience Clarkston, MI
Pay: $16$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday The Learning Experience Clarkston is seeking a caring and dependable Childcare Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment where children build confidence, social skills, and early learning foundations through structured routines and hands-on experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with young children in a collaborative and supportive childcare setting. Key Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines and learning activities across age groups
- Create a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Assist with classroom preparation and activity setup
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
