Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of lawn maintenance equipment, including stand-up and zero-turn mowers, push mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers.
• Mow, trim, edge, and clean turf areas to ensure a neat and professional appearance.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as spring and fall cleanups, mulching, and leaf removal.
• Maintain walkways, driveways, and parking areas by removing debris.
• Assist with snow season activities as assigned.
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on equipment before and after use.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Communicate effectively with crew leaders and team members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and well-kept uniform.
• Accurately record time and materials used in job and payroll tracking systems daily.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, or groundskeeping.
• Experience operating commercial lawn equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a chauffeur license.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun, heat, cold, and rain.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, weekends, and adapt to seasonal variations.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
