About this position:

The Business Analyst role will be responsible for providing business analysis and support. In partnership with development teams, your mission is to create innovative technology solutions, quality software and provide expert support to business units. In addition, the IT Business Analyst will actively work with vendors, application support and IT teams to research and resolve problems, identify improvements, implement new functionality, coordinate maintenance and upgrades as well as evaluate new products.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as a liaison between business operations, internal IT teams, vendors and stakeholders.

• Work with internal customers to fully understand their business needs; to provide the most appropriate response to inquiries; serve as a technical communicator between stakeholders; provide translation and ensure clarity and consistency on action items.

• Facilitate discussions and conduct regular meetings to inform of upcoming changes, ensure cross-departmental engagement and collaboration on projects.

• Evaluate business unit operations processes, uncovering areas of improvement and providing relevant expertise and analysis.

• Collaborate with Application Support, IT infrastructure and development teams to ensure applications are optimized for stability, reliability and scalability.

• Assist with business reporting and analysis.

• Manage multiple short and long-term projects.

• Manage priorities and solve problems with cross-functional groups.

• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

What you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 1 year in IT or IS experience with 3 or more years of similar or related experience in a Business Analyst role. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively facilitate discussions/presentations and communicate with diverse audiences.

• Strong project management skills with detailed record keeping.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to work with both Business and IT Resources to identify requirements.

• Ability to lead requirement sessions and clearly document requirements.
