Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze production costs and investigate variances to standard.
• Manage inventory valuation and reconciliation processes.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for management decision-making.
• Participate in month-end close activities related to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold.
• Assist in the preparation of manufacturing budgets and forecasts.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation)
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with ERP system implementation or advanced configuration (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• APICS certification or strong understanding of supply chain and production planning processes.
