Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept to implementation, focusing on process optimization, new product introduction, and equipment upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures within manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve complex technical challenges and support manufacturing goals.
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and project execution.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions to improve productivity and capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial engineering principles.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of an organization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, robotics, IIoT).
• Demonstrated success in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in capital expenditure justification and ROI analysis for manufacturing projects.
