Operations Launch Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager , to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at our launch facilities across the United States. As Launch Manager, you will play an important role in developing good working relationships with all team members and the customer. You will need to proactively generate, interpret, analyze, and communicate results using management tools, graphs, and reports. Eliminating complexity and integrating a culture of improvement has to be in your DNA.

This is a home based remote role with required travel to all major contract logistics sites in the United States and Canada. This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in The United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

About the Role

Are you ready to spearhead the dynamic expansion of our operations in the Americas? We're seeking an ambitious Operations Launch Manager to lead our Cars in Containers (CIC) operators and drive the successful initiation of new operations throughout the region. As the Operations Launch Manager, you will travel extensively to ensure the seamless execution of CIC operations, while fostering innovation and efficiency every step of the way.

JOB PURPOSE

This role will lead our Cars in Containers operators and support launches for new operations in the Americas and travel throughout the region.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead a team of CIC operators in the Americas, overseeing their activities as they travel within the region (and potentially globally) to initiate new CIC operations. Provide guidance and training to DPW or 3rd party facilities.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Cars in Containers (CIC) operations from start to finish, including the loading of cars into containers with racks.
• Train DPW and 3rd party operators in CIC operations, ensuring a high standard of proficiency and compliance with established protocols.
• Continuously refine CIC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documents, adapting and improving processes as needed.
• Encourage and implement creative solutions to enhance CIC operations, driving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Train as needed at P&T (Ports and Terminals) to handle CIC, aiming to reduce reliance on 3rd parties and ensure proximity to vessels, especially during critical phases.
