Registered Nurse Endocrinology Department
Join our Endocrinology team and make a lasting impact by helping patients manage diabetes and other chronic endocrine conditions.
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient care in our Endocrinology department. This role offers the opportunity to provide education, coordination and clinical support to patients and families.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct nursing support, including assessments, triage, vitals, and documentation
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and disease management
- Support diabetes care: insulin administration, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and insulin pump training
- Administer injections (insulin, GLP-1 agonists, vitamin D, testosterone, etc.) per provider orders
- Assist with procedures, lab testing, and specialty referrals
What We’re Looking For
Required :
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Michigan RN license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred :
- Two years of nursing experience (ambulatory or endocrinology)
- Diabetes Educator training or certification
- Experience working with patients managing Diabetes Mellitus
- Prior leadership or team lead experience
