Job Title: CNC Operator - 1st Shift
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join our team. This role involves operating machinery, including loading and unloading, in a manufacturing environment. The position will begin with training on the first shift and transition to a third shift role. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a solid work history, and is eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines effectively, ensuring precision in production.
• Load and unload machines efficiently.
• Maintain attention to detail in all operations.
• Use micrometers and calipers for measurements.
• Train on mills or lathes initially, then transition to grinding operations.
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing as a machine operator.
• Proficiency in reading micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CNC mill and lathe experience.
• Automated and manual grinding experience.
• Experience with Acme equipment is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Sheffield gauges, Cincinnati, and Norton machines.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and safe manufacturing environment with safety as the top priority. The role operates on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, primarily Monday to Thursday for first shift and Sunday night to Wednesday night for third shift. Flexibility is required to accommodate production demands. The facility runs 24/5 with occasional Saturday work.

This is a Contract position based out of Millington, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
