Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and production continuity.
• Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, cost, and delivery.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and stay updated on market trends.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain principles.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings and optimize procurement efficiency.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• APICS or ISM certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM).
• Experience with global sourcing and international logistics.
