Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the daily activities of a production team, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Train and mentor new and existing team members on manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators to management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of effective team leadership.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and guide a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Experience with performance management, training, and development of team members.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and manufacturing software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Forklift certification
• Basic understanding of quality control methodologies
• Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members
