Dental Assistant
About the Job:
Dr's Fuhst-Wylie & Kahn, Family Dental Care is seeking an individual to join our close-knit team as a Dental Assistant. This position is slightly unique, see duties below:
- 4 day work week, No Weekends! Specific schedule to be determined.
Requirements: Pay is experience based. While experience is desired, we are willing to provide on the job training to the right person!

- Team player who enjoys helping wherever needed.
- Calm and focused under pressure.
Assistant Duties:
- Escort patients to operatory and help patients feel comfortable.
- Set up operatories for procedures.
- Anticipate dentist's needs and perform expanded functions and other tasks as assigned by dentist.
- Begin treatment notes, review health history, take blood pressure.
- Keep operatory organized, stocked, clean and ready.
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations for sterilization and disinfection of instruments and handpieces.
- Maintain lab case management system.
- Any additional support the team may need.
