Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and SCADA systems.
• Integrate and commission robotic systems, vision systems, and other advanced automation technologies.
• Optimize existing automation systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide technical support for automation-related issues on the production floor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley) for control system design and implementation.
• Experience with industrial robotics programming, integration, and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Demonstrated ability in SCADA/HMI development and configuration (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, Rockwell FTView).
• Proven experience with industrial vision systems for inspection and guidance (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex automation systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
• Proficiency in industrial data acquisition, historian, and analytics platforms (e.g., Ignition, AVEVA PI System).
• Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity principles and practices.
