Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and other technical documents to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order, including routine cleaning and minor repairs.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components as per design.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in operating welding equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in various positions.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-cored).
• Proficiency in fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, and fitting.
• Certification or experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and basic weld inspection.
