Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to minimize recurrence.
• Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental programs in accordance with permits and regulations.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects, equipment, and processes.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare required reports, and communicate performance metrics to management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific EHS management software platforms (EMIS).
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
