IT Analytics Intern
- Connect at least two monitoring systems end-to-end (ingestion > dashboard > report > notification).
- Deliver a KPI set with definitions and formulas, including availability, Mean Time to Acknowledge (MTTA)/Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), alert volume, incident recurrence, and SLA/SLO proxy metrics.
- Reduce duplicate or low-value alert noise in the pilot set (target: ≥20% reduction through rules or Artificial Intelligence (AI) classification).
- Produce a working MVP with a dashboard view, scheduled report output, and a critical notification pipeline for a pilot channel or team.
- Work with multiple monitoring and alerting tools across infrastructure, network, endpoints, cloud, and application environments.
- Assist in addressing fragmented visibility, overlapping alerts, inconsistent reporting, and slow trend or SLA risk identification.
- Report progress regularly and follow provided training, expectations, and checkpoints throughout the project.
- Adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- Undergraduate/graduate student working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Science, or other relevant degree.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA required to enter the program.
- Must be actively enrolled in school.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

- May need to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about in industrial environments, and on uneven terrain.
- Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional work in outdoor weather conditions, and in industrial environments.
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
- May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, and colors.
