The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Byron Center seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and power distribution.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical infrastructure.
• Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals for system installation and repair.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., NEC), and company policies.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control centers.
• Calibrate and test electrical equipment and instrumentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, VFDs, and sensors.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and minor programming adjustments.
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and configuration experience
• Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and optimization
• Certified Thermographer for electrical systems
