Whisker is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan and Juneau, Wisconsin with 700+ passionate team members. We work in person 4+ days a week.
What You’ll Do :
As our Senior Product Manager for AI Insights, you'll spearhead the AI strategy across Whisker's suite of hardware and software products. With over 1 million connected robots in the field, logging more than 3 million cat weights and 4 million cycles per day, you'll harness this extensive historical data to predict behaviors, identify patterns, and create intuitive, delightful AI-driven experiences. With nearly 750,000 monthly active users and growing, your insights will directly shape how pet parents understand and care for their cats.
In the future, you'll also play a key role as Whisker expands data collection to cover food, water, and waste, drastically accelerating the volume and richness of insights available to continually enhance our products and user experiences.

Summary:
Lead Whisker’s AI insights strategy, transforming complex data from hardware, software, and customer interactions into user-focused AI experiences. This role will involve close collaboration across engineering, design, and business teams to drive innovation, inform product decisions, and prioritize features with high strategic and customer impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develops and executes Whisker’s comprehensive AI insights strategy, integrating data across hardware and software products
- Collaborates closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to translate data insights into beautiful, user-centric AI experiences
- Analyzes vast datasets, including pet behavioral patterns, operational data, and historical customer interactions, to identify new AI opportunities
- Works cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Marketing, and Operations teams, leveraging years of collected data to inform product decisions
- Leads product roadmap development, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic value, customer impact, and technical feasibility
- Serves as the champion of AI-driven innovation internally, fostering a culture of experimentation and data-informed decision-making.
- Will perform additional responsibilities when required
Requirements
What You’ll Bring :
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in AI, data-driven products, or connected hardware/software environments
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful AI-driven consumer experiences
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting large datasets to guide product strategy
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, comfortable engaging with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership
- Passion for pets and a genuine enthusiasm for improving the lives of pets and pet parents through technology.
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
- Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
- A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
- Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)
