Kent Quality Foods, a family-owned business and an established leader in the food processing industry is now hiring for Oven Operator positions at our Grand Rapids Location ! If you are looking for an organization that will appreciates you and what you do - look no further.
Employee Job Responsibilities:
- Cook product to its established specifications
- Look for suspect product- correct labels
- Hang sticks of meat as they exit ovens for chilling process
- Record meat temperatures in accordance with CCP procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area throughout the day
- Troubleshoot quality deviations with shift leadership
- Follow all relevant SOP's
- Abide by all Employee and Food Safety processes and procedures
Qualifications/Skills:
- Prior experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs,and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Ability to cross-train
- Ability to work in cold work environment
- Process a good understanding of health and safety and basic hygiene rules
- The ability to maintain concentration for repetitive tasks
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good team working skills
- Basic computer knowledge
