Job Title: Welder

Job Description

This position is responsible for welding together metal components with arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine bases, parts, and plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and determine/select appropriate welding procedures and techniques.
• Perform welding ranging from standard to specialized and involved, using arc or gas methods (or combinations) to weld diversified work.
• Fabricate or repair products such as machine bases, parts, and plant equipment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols.
• Custom welding experience is a MUST.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Ledge, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
